Skater Hockey is a fast-growing sport - similar to ice hockey but played in sports halls with a small hard ball, and on inline roller hockey skates instead of ice skates. The game itself normally consists of two, 20-minute periods. One net minder (goalkeeper) and 4 outfield players are on the pitch at any one time. These players (or line)are changed for another line many times during the course of a game. (Skater Hockey is a very fast sport and players can become exhausted very quickly.) The maximum number of players per game is 18. Normally, there would be between 8 and 12 outfield players and two net minders in a game. If you are interested in the game of Hockey and would like to give it a try, please for details.
